Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before subscribing to Messy Bakes. By signing up, you confirm that you have read these Terms & Conditions, therefore agreeing to be bound by them.
PAYMENTS ACCEPTED
Stripe process all card payments made on the website.
CANCELLATION
Your right to cancel
While we would hate to see you leave, it is of course your right to cancel your subscription. From when you opt for cancellation, your subscription will cease from the next payment due date. Please reach out if you decide to do so or if you need assistance. If you are a founding member, you will need to contact me directly to end your subscription and I will arrange it immediately for you upon request. This is due to the site not having been ready when you signed up in December 2023.
Our right to cancel
Messy Bakes reserve the right at our discretion to refuse renewal of your subscription at any time. You will be informed of this decision, but are not entitled to a reason for that decision.
Messy Bakes is entitled to cancel your subscription or restrict your service under these terms at any time, with or without notice for reasons such as, but not limited to;
• Messy Bakes has been refused authority for payment or if any amount due, has not been paid on time
• Messy Bakes has been abused or you have failed to comply with agreement terms
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please note the following before entering the Messy Bakes membership:
• Carefully read through the ingredients list provided, checking for allergens, warnings or special instructions.
• Please note that while this is a kids focused baking membership, it is each child’s parents full responsibility to over see all aspects of the content provided. You the parent/guardian will be responsible in your own kitchens. Children should be supervised at ALL times.
• Always take precautions when handling the recommended tools & equipment, in particular sharp objects and heated equipment, ie ovens.
• Messy Bakes cannot guarantee how your bake will look or taste, as this may vary depending on a number of factors outside our control, including but not limited to; your level of skill, your oven temperature/settings. You may need to make adjustments to suit your own circumstances.
• The ultimate goal of Messy Bakes is that it as a fun and easy environment. Respect is at the core of this membership. Being mindful and respectful is a key requirement within Messy Bakes
• For school/childcare settings, it is permitted for workers to use the recipes but not to share them. Activity sheets can be utilised. Video tutorials are NOT permitted for showing in classroom settings.
• Facebook – rules upon joining the Messy Bakes private group need to be respected and adhered to. Heated discussions and opinions are not welcome. It is a space to share freely without judgement.
REVIEWS
By submitting a review on our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you submit in your review. You must provide accurate, truthful, and unbiased information, and avoid false statements, misleading claims, or malicious intent.
Ownership: You retain ownership of the content you submit as a review. However, you grant us permission to display, reproduce, and distribute your review on our platform and related promotional materials.
Moderation: We reserve the right to moderate and monitor reviews for compliance with our guidelines. We may remove, or reject reviews that violate the guidelines or contain inappropriate content, as determined by our discretion.
Impersonation: You must not impersonate others or falsely represent yourself when submitting a review.
Accuracy and Authenticity: You must provide truthful and unbiased reviews based on your own experiences. You must not submit reviews that are fraudulent, paid for, or involve conflicts of interest.
